Reed Legal are currently working with one of the largest and leading Law firms in East Anglia. We are pleased to be representing them in their search to join the team as Head of Conveyancing. The position would be based at their Head Office in Chelmsford but if you are based in Essex, they have a number of local offices and are willing to be flexible.
We are looking for a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive who is ready to take the next step in their career into a managerial position. This would be ideal for a candidate who wants the opportunity to grow the department and bring innovative and forward thinking ideas.
The Firm
They are CQS (Conveyancing Quality Scheme) and Lexcel accredited and offer excellent customer service with their clients. The team is currently based out of Chelmsford, Shoeburyness and Ipswich and they have plans to expand further throughout East Anglia.
Job
You will be expected to take responsibility for current conveyancing relationships and to develop new business through current and potential contacts so any following would be a bonus! You would be expected to attend networking events and other marketing activities to develop new business.
Do you have experience managing a team? You will be managing a team of 3 experienced Solicitors and will be expected to provide technical expertise to help support and develop. You will also work closely with other Heads of Departments and Partners to raise the profile of the firm as a whole.
