Banking Paralegal

A Leading law firm are recruiting a banking paralegal into their banking litigation team, to provide paralegal support on a huge case that will be going to trial in the coming months. This role will be based in their Watford office.

Due to this increase in workload, they are looking to recruit the banking paralegal on temporary basis (likely 2 months) to help run pre-litigation exercises in preparation for the trial, so you'll get a real-hands on experience.

The duties will be really varied as you'll sit with the banking litigation team (including one other banking paralegal), but will include preparing trial bundles, drafting correspondence, helping run the document review process for disclosure, and other duties. The other banking paralegal has found they've dealt with a little bit of everything.

The ideal candidate will have a BBB minimum at A-level, and a 2:1 law degree or GDL. It would be great for you to have some experience but not a necessity for the right candidate.
