In House Paralegal Team Leader, Birmingham

We are working with an In house organisation looking to grow their employment team with the hire of a Team Leader to manage and supervise the team. This is a rare opportunity for an employment Solicitor to make the move In House.

The Role

The successful Paralegal Team Leader will have the opportunity to:

- Manage a range of projects and take responsibility for the day to day management of work flow and allocation of work.

- Supervise a large number of Paralegals, both permanent and temporary.

- Assist the Head of Services with a range of projects so deadlines are met.

- Be involved with fast paced employment workload and advise on a range of employment, regulatory and legal queries.

- Prepare briefing notes on technical points of law and be the escalation point for the team.

- Manage external stakeholder relationships.

- Coach and mentor the staff.

The Person

The successful Paralegal Team Leader will:

- Be a UK qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with an Employment background. Experience of employment law is desirable.

- Have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Experience of managing/supervising paralegals is preferable but not essential.
