If you are an experienced Family Solicitor looking to make a career move to Head up a Family Department then this role will be of interest.

The Client is a well established multi-disciplinary practice with a growing Family department based in the South Manchester region.

For the right candidate this role could present an increased role responsibility, a new and exciting challenge, or quicker career growth and a higher earning potential.

The Role

• The firm have a small and friendly family team that is gaining a strong reputation in this area of law.
• They advise both privately funded and legally aided clients on a range of family law matters.
• You will be responsible for heading up the department and supervising others.
• You will also handle your own caseload of family matters to include matrimonial/divorce/ancillary relief, non-molestation order/injunction proceedings, child care proceedings and child contact matters.
• You will have the support of an experienced secretary.

Suitable Candidates

• This role would suit an experienced and passionate Family Solicitor who has Supervisor Status and has a minimum of 5 years PQE and upwards.
• You will have a strong understanding of all aspects of family law.
• You will have a keen interest in advising legally aided clients.
• You will have an empathetic approach and strong client care skills.
• You will be able to work independently but also enjoy working in a collegiate environment.
• You will have excellent communication skills allowing you to engage with colleagues and clients alike, with ease.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary is negotiable and dependent upon experience - £35,000 - £45,000.
• Full Time - Part time/Flexible hours considered
