Locum Planning Solicitor (Home Working)
Reference: 594503
Venn Group's specialist legal team are excited to be recruiting for a Locum Planning Solicitor to join a Local Authority legal team in the South West. The assignment would be for an initial duration of 3-6 months, with a strong possibility of further extension.
The successful applicant will have extensive knowledge of Planning Law and will have managed their own caseload of matters in a Local Government environment.
The day-to-day duties will include:
- Providing advice on a wide range of Planning matters
- Advising and representing clients in negotiations and discussions
- Drafting and negotiating section 106 agreements
- Offering ad-hoc Planning advice where required to clients and colleagues
- Attending Planning inquiries and Planning Committees
The position offers an hourly rate of £35-45 per hour and is offered on a full time or part time basis and the client is able to offer a flexible work pattern including home working.
