Technology / Data Protection Lawyer (non-contentious)
This is an opportunity to join Matheson’s Technology and Innovation Group which integrates our legal expertise in IT, IP, data privacy, fintech, outsourcing and commercial contracts. You are currently working as a technology lawyer, with experience in data privacy, IP and technology contracts and are keen to join a growing practice area where you will be working with clients in technology, financial services, the life sciences, pharma, and data sectors.
About the role
In this role you will be advising a diverse domestic and international client base across a range of non-contentious technology and data protection matters including:
- Outsourcing projects, technology supply agreements and patent licences.
- Licensing, collaboration and JV arrangements and franchising.
- Data protection, privacy, cyber security and the GDPR.
- Data processing agreements.
- International transfers.
- Access requests.
- Software Licensing.
- Regulation of novel technologies.
- Confidentiality, trade secrets, advertising, eCommerce and consumer protection.
- eSignatures.
- Export Control.
- Acquisition / divestment and licensing of intellectual property rights.
Intellectual Property Lawyer (non-contentious)

You are currently working as an intellectual property lawyer, with experience in IP, commercial contracts and data privacy and are keen to join a growing practice area where you will be working with clients in the life sciences, pharma, data, financial services, technology and FMCG sectors.
About the role
In this role you will be advising a diverse domestic and international client base across a range of non-contentious IP matters including:
- Complex IP commercial contracts.
- Data protection, privacy, cyber security and the GDPR.
- IP aspects of large corporate transactions.
- Acquisition / divestment and licensing of intellectual property rights.
- Intellectual property protection strategy.
- Protection and enforcement of trade marks and other registered rights in Ireland, Europe and globally.
- International re-structuring of IP rights.
- Outsourcing projects, technology supply agreements and patent licences.
- Confidentiality, trade secrets, advertising, eCommerce and consumer protection.
- Licensing, collaboration and JV arrangements and franchising.
