A rare opportunity has arisen for a talented Real Estate Lawyer seeking to make the move In-House.
This role is with a start-up who have done exceptionally well in their first year and are therefore seeking to appoint their first In-House Legal Counsel. The company's focus is on being environmentally friendly and they have an innovative way of reducing carbon footprint.
The successful solicitor/lawyer will have full responsibility for drafting and negotiating leases for the company's product to be housed on large companies or private owners land. The core duties of the role will be real estate/property based, but the In-House Legal Counsel can also look forward to taking on more general legal work including company secretarial, IP, employment contracts and commercial contracts.
Applications are welcome from solicitors seeking to make their first move In-House as well as experienced In-House Lawyers. The key experience is commercial property/real estate and ideally the candidate will have similar experience to what is detailed above.
It is anticipated the successful Legal Counsel will have at least 6 years PQE to be able to hit the ground running and manage all real estate matters independently, but please do apply if you feel your experience matches the criteria and you are outside of this PQE.
This role would particularly suit an entrepreneurial lawyer who likes the idea of being with a business from the start and being instrumental in the development and growth of the business as a whole, alongside the technical legal work.
Their office is based in Central London and offers excellent flexible/agile working alongside the interesting work and good salary package.
