Corporate Associate

Corporate Solicitor, 2+ years’ PQE

My client, a leading private practice law firm based in the City, are looking to expand their highly regarded Corporate team, with the addition of a Corporate Associate. The department specialises in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, banking and finance, capital markets, tax, corporate restructuring, energy and project finance.

This firm’s prestigious reputation, alongside its wealth of expertise in the Corporate field, means that this team works on some of the most complex and high profile M&A deals.

Duties will include general corporate M&A work, work on specific transactions that the firm has been mandated to complete, regulatory advice etc.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to co-ordinate and manage junior members of the team, including trainees and paralegals, provide a broad range of advice to our corporate clients and you will be expected to undertake a broad range of corporate transactions.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience within private practice corporate law
• UK qualified or equivalent
• Excellent academics
• Excellent client-facing ability
• A gregarious, friendly demeanour
• Some experience of managing or mentoring junior staff members
