This is a rare opportunity to join an expanding Charities team at a leading firm in York.

As a result of a continued influx of work they are looking for a Solicitor around 3-4 yrs PQE + with Charity Law experience to join their niche team.

As one of the leading teams in the Yorkshire region this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Charities experience to get out of the rat race in Leeds or perhaps someone keen to relocate to Yorkshire from another region.

The firm act for over 100 charities and not-for-profit organisations advising on a wide range of issues including advising charities and third sector organisations in respect of compliance with charity regulatory requirements; establishing subsidiary companies and joint venture vehicles; governance reviews and restructuring; trustee training; tax and trading rules; Charity Commission enquiries; advising on legalities of fundraising; establishing new charities; incorporating charities and collaborative working and mergers.

Ideally you will have at least 3-4 years of Charity Law experience although the firm recognise this is a niche area and would be interested in lawyers slightly outside of the PQE range if they have the relevant skills.
