In House Private Client Legal & Compliance Analyst Job in Swindon, free parking on site


Your new company
This rapidly growing business provide workflow software for conveyancing and private client teams. They pride themselves on the fact that their product takes care of every detail of every file, to make their customers more efficient and grow their businesses. They are presently expanding and are currently seeking an In-House Private Client Legal and Compliance Analyst to join their Swindon office.

Your new role
Working closely with the Products team, you will examine and translate laws, official guidelines, precedents and existing working practices. You will provide comprehensive and astute analysis which can then be turned into practical business workflow processes and legal content for the companies private client suite of workflows (notably Probate, Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney).

You will take a pro-active role in informing and preparing the business in advance of any legal changes, as well as assisting with the existing product suite, and researching, documenting and designing content for new legal products and features. This will include reviewing all current law and working practices and ensure that all regulatory changes (Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme, SRA, Lexcel, etc.) are captured and translated into business processes which can be understood by the company's business analysts and developers.

You will provide escalated support to internal and external stakeholders to answer legal business process queries and where required you will provide training or explanation to junior members of staff to assist with their understanding of the legal and business process aspects of the product.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be either a qualified solicitor or legal executive and you will ideally have gained the STEP qualification, but this is not essential. It is essential that you have experience dealing with Private Client Matters, particularly Wills and Probate. You will have a good understanding of Probate Estate Accounts and will ideally have experience of dealing with legal compliance.
