This international banking organisation is looking to recruit a Banking & Finance lawyer into its London based legal team.

Description

Reporting into the Head of Legal you will be responsible for the following range of work:

  • Drafting and/or reviewing a broad range of banking and finance documentation
  • Give advice and assistance to any other part of the bank if requested in relation to matters of English law and review/ draft documentation for overseas offices where governed by English law;
  • Reviewing and/or negotiating derivatives documentation and capital markets

    • Profile

    Candidates should be a UK qualified lawyer from a well known firm. Prior in house experience is not necessary.

    This role will suit a banking lawyer with a background in some of the following areas; bilateral and syndicated lending, general corporate financing, asset finance, trade finance, emerging markets financing and project finance.

    Due to the structure of the team and salary/package on offer this role is likely to suit a candidate with around 3-5 years post qualified experience, however, this is purely a guide and candidates who feel they are the right fit for this role with more or less experience are encouraged to apply.

    The ability to speak a European language, particularly French or German would be highly advantageous.
