Ryder Reid is working with a hugely successful international Private Equity Investment firm to recruit an HR Director based in their Frankfurt office. The HR Director will head up the HR function across the firm's European offices (c staff) and will lead a small team of HR professionals. Key responsibilities for the HR Director will include:
- Plan, organise and coordinate the HR operational processes on a company-wide basis
- Overseeing the execution of key processes such as recruitment, on-boarding, performance management, and compensation reviews
- Ensuring HR policies and procedures are in place for all jurisdictions, reflecting company precedents
- Supporting HR staff to resolve human resources issues, interpreting policies and recommending effective courses of action
- Providing leadership in coordinating the activity of the HR department to ensure compliance with laws, policies and regulations
- Identifying solutions that meet the needs of the HR functions by recommending process improvements and system enhancements
- Preparing and monitoring the department budget
- Overseeing the coordination of employee development and training
- Ensuring the delivery of regular HR metrics reports to company management
The ideal candidate for the HR Director role will have extensive HR experience, and a proven track record as a manager from a professional services business. You must have excellent knowledge of employment law across European jurisdictions and a thorough understanding of the employee lifecycle. Experience of implementing an HR system would be highly beneficial. You will be able to build effective working relationships and have an analytical approach to problem solving. You will be a good team manager, who is results-focused, ambitious and credible. Fluency in English is essential, and ideally fluency German or a Scandinavian language.
