Lexcel accredited practice is now seeking a Childcare Solicitor for their office in Colchester, Essex.

Achieving numerous accreditations including Lexcel and CQS, they have an enviable client base and enjoy a high number of repeat referrals. They are now looking for a Childcare Solicitor to join their team in Colchester, Essex.
The Role
An excellent opportunity for a Childcare Solicitor has now arisen in our client’s busy department in Colchester. This is suited to a qualified Solicitor with 2-4 years PQE in Public Law Children matters who can handle their caseload with minimum supervision. Matters will include: Legal Aid applications; domestic abuse and injunctions; drafting and reviewing applications; forced marriages and; conducting own advocacy. With good client care and communication skills, successful applicants will also be willing to contribute to business development and marketing initiatives as part of your duties.

The Candidate
Applications are encouraged from a qualified Solicitor with 2-4 years PQE.
Strong experience in Public Children matters is highly essential.
Working to key deadlines, handling a diverse caseload will be highly advantageous.
A driven, flexible approach to working and a high level of commercial awareness are important in applications to the role.
You will have first class client care and work well within a team as well as on own initiative.
