In-House Claims Lawyer

My client, a FTSE 250 global leader in their Industry who are famed as unique and high-profile Insurers are looking to appoint a commercially minded Claims Lawyer to join their highly regarded team in York.

This position offers the opportunity to work across a mixed portfolio including Professional Indemnity, Technology, Media and Contingency claims to name but a few. You will pro-actively handle claims, working closely with clients and policyholders and instructing external counsel where necessary.

Required is a confident and pragmatic Solicitor, who has claims underwriting experience in the areas of professional indemnity or liability claims from a defendant perspective.
