Commercial Contracts Paralegal

An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Contracts Paralegal to join an In-House Legal Team based in the West Midlands. Easily commutable from both the East and West Midlands, this ambitious company has an established Legal Team. The role is offered on an initial 3-6 month contract, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to a variety of areas of practice, but the role will primarily focus upon Commercial Law with an emphasis on negotiating and agreeing commercial contracts with customers, suppliers and partners.

Duties of the role will include;

• Working closely with the Legal Counsels and Head of Legal on a range of matters.

• Administering and maintaining a Contracts database.

• Reviewing and drafting a wide variety of commercial contracts, including: Agency agreements, distribution agreements, contracts for the supply and purchase of a wide range of goods and services, including framework agreements, outsourcing agreements and standard terms and conditions of business.

To be considered for the role, you must have completed the LPC, and ideally have a minimum of 6 months Commercial Contracts experience but this does not preclude someone with more qualified experience from applying for the role. Prior experience of Pharmaceutical or Healthcare services would be an advantage.
