I am currently recruiting for a credit controller for one of our Sheffield city centre based clients. The role is to join a small dynamic team and to assist in the preparation, developing and analysis of key financial information.

Reporting to the credit control manager, the role is suited to an experienced credit controller looking for a new opportunity that brings a challenge. To work in a fast paced environment, located in the heart of the city, the role offers excellent benefits and a dynamic working environment.

The Role:
- Undertake management of the credit control function on debtor ledgers
- Chase outstanding debt and keep overdue to minimum
- Raise manual invoices and credits as necessary
- Conduct and complete monthly statement run
- Ensure cheques are banked weekly and end of month
- Complete credit card, Chaps, DD's and any other payments/receipts as required
- Deal with daily customer/supplier queries via telephone/email/written requests

The Candidate:
- Experienced in Credit Control (minimum of 2 years working in the role)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent time keeping and prioritization skills
- Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner (especially over the telephone)
