Junior HR Advisor at Law Firm – c£27,000
Our client, a mid-sized City law firm, is looking for a driven and confident HR Assistant looking to make the step up to HR Advisor within a supportive and friendly team.
What they are looking for is a great communicator (excellent written & Verb English essential) with the ability to form strong relationships with stakeholders and use that to influence and help people across the business.
Ideally they are looking for a graduate with their CIPD but they will consider part qualified CIPD. Experience wise they are looking for 2 years+ as a HR Assistant, hopefully in a law firm or similar, commercial environment.
Duties include;
- Management of firm’s benefits and advising new and existing staff
- Trainee seat rotation
- Updating payroll
- Dealing with flexible working applications
- Managing the maternity and paternity processes
- Helping with employee relations
- Taking responsibility for the diversity program
- Be a champion for the Employee Forum
- Creating the HR newsletter
- Supporting the Head of HR
This is a perfect role for a frustrated HR assistant or HR Administrator who wants to make the next step up, but can’t do it with their current firm. The role offers great variety, true involvement and the chance to be given responsibility you might have to wait years for somewhere else! The team are great too, very supportive and willing to train and mentor you in the areas you don’t have experience in.
