This FS Start up is looking to hire a Commercial Counsel to join its rapidly expanding team based in London.
Client Details
A London based FS Start up with a focus on investments in tech within the Capital Markets sector.
Description
Reporting into the COO you will be responsible for all commercial legal matters ranging from complex and high value negotiations with large investment banks to day to day contract matters.
At this stage all other legal matters will continue to be outsourced to outside counsel.
Profile
The successful candidate will need to be a UK qualified lawyer with experience in depth expertise in commercial contracts, ideally having working both in private practice and in house.
This role will involve taking full ownership of all commercial legal work and the successful candidate will need to be comfortable working on both high value contract negotiations and more standard day to day matters as well.
Due to the ever growing nature of the business this role will really suit a lawyer with a can-do attitude. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with little support.
Job Offer
A basic salary up to £90,000 (depending on experience) + benefits + bonus
