Legal Counsel

Our client is a fast growing, forward thinking Bank.

They are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join their legal team.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for a range of commercial matters
• Advise on legal issues affecting both day-to-day operations and the expansion of the business
• Preparation for long-term capital planning, including capital calls and other future capital markets offerings.

Skills:

• England and/or Wales Qualified Solicitor
• Solid drafting and negotiating skills
• Strong understanding of corporate/commercial issues, including corporate governance issues
• Experience advising senior management on various aspects of English law
• Working knowledge of the data protection legislation
• Knowledge of the UK regulatory ecosystem, payments systems and retail banking
