Commercial Lawyer, 3-7 PQE

Fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Layer to join a leading multinational organisation based in the West Midlands where you will undertake a commercially focused varied in-house role which touches upon all parts of the business.
Our client is one of the most successful businesses in the Midlands, a leader in its field and a household name. An opportunity has arisen for a commercial lawyer to join the established legal team based at their West Midlands based HQ.
The work for this individual will be varied in nature although primarily focused on general commercial matters and will see you dealing with manufacturing, distribution, retail and external sales teams in the business. The successful individual will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and reviewing a broad range of commercial agreements and tender documentation, advising the business on a variety of legal issues and coordinating advice from external counsel when required.
Specifically you will:
· Provide legal support to the business in relation to commercial contracts with third parties including negotiating, drafting and advising on the terms of commercial contracts across all business activities;
· Providing support to the business on legal issues that may arise such as litigation, intellectual property, data protection and compliance generally;
· Deliver training to colleagues on legal issues; and
· Develop systems to best manage the legal advice required by the business.
This role will suit either a lawyer with at least 3 - 7 year's PQE who is either already working in-house or in private practice looking to move in-house for the first time. Commercial contracts experience is required.
