My client is a global financial institution looking to hire a Real estate finance lawyer, between 1-3PQE, on an initial contract basis.
The role will be to assist the team with the execution and closing of commercial real estate loans and loan on loan financings. The candidate must be a qualified lawyer (no specific requirement as to PQE but ideally 0 – 3 years) with real estate finance or loan on loan finance experience and will ideally have experience with loan closings within private practice or at a financial institution.
Duties and responsibilities within the role will include:
1. Preparing term sheets
2. Reviewing and liaising with external counsel on loan documentation
3. Assisting with loan closing processes and liaising with internal constituents to ensure smooth execution
4. Assisting with syndication process
