Junior Employment Counsel, Global Brokerage Company
Our client, a global brokerage company, is seeking a junior employment lawyer to joint their small London based legal team.
Responsibilities
- Advise on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious
- Draft legal documentation, in particular bespoke contractual documentation
- Assist in the handling of all employment litigation
- Seek to minimise the employment legal risks so far as possible
- Assist with advice on employee relations issues and staff exits, advise the business/HR, drafting relevant documentation and negotiate exits;
- Project work such as large scale contract review and M & A due diligence exercises – which can require turning around a large volume of work, usually within a tight deadline while maintaining attention to detail;
Skills and Experience
- Newly qualified lawyer or a lawyer with around 2 years post-qualification experience in employment law (all relevant applications will be considered);
