Planning & Regeneration Lawyer

An attractive Planning Lawyer job with a shared local authority service provider based in North-West London.

Your new company
This shared service provider in North-West London is looking for an experienced Planning Lawyer to join their large, specialist legal team in supporting local councils and their clients on matters related to planning and regeneration. This role is a 3-month rolling contract.

Your new role
You will manage a caseload of planning and regeneration matters, providing advice and representation where required, as well as undertaking research as requested. You will work for a number of public sector clients across this local authority's shared service team. You will provide advice and training on relevant developments in law and policy, as well as supporting more junior staff where required.

What you'll need to succeed
You should be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, CILEX officer or foreign qualified lawyer with relevant experience in the UK. You should have up-to-date exposure to planning and regeneration law, with at least 2 years' PQE, though other levels will also be considered.

You should have prior exposure to Public Law, but you do not need to have worked in a local government setting before. You should have prior experience providing advice to senior and junior members of staff alike. On being made an offer, you will be required to undertake a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check.
