Our client is an international firm and they are looking for either a legal executive or licensed conveyancer to deal with a residential property caseload, base din either the Leeds or Newcastle office

Working with many major housebuilders, residential development and housing clients our work is diverse and always of the highest quality. We support our clients in a range of projects from major urban mixed-use developments to green field new settlements, and our expertise in the sector, coupled with our approach to client service means that we are rated as the premier team in Newcastle by both clients and the legal directories.

The team now has an exciting opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer to join them to be based out of our Newcastle or Leeds office.

What will you be doing?

In this busy team you'll be responsible for managing your own caseload, handling complex files primarily for part exchange sales and purchases and secondary for plot sales too. You'll play a vital role assisting with licences and consents subsequent to sales and freehold reversion sales and liaise closely with the Development Team compiling sales documentation.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

You'll either be a Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 12 months solid residential conveyancing experience, what type of practice you gained that experience is not important, what is key is that you possess demonstrable experience of dealing with complex conveyancing issues, have excellent communication skills, a positive outlook and the desire to offer outstanding client service. In addition, you'll have strong IT skills and your experience of case management systems will give your application a distinct advantage.
