In house counsel - 12 month FTC

Our client is a major FTSE listed business seeking a solicitor to undertake a fixed term contract of around 12 months, assisting on a range of complex legal work.

Joining a small in house legal team, you'll take on a diverse and complex role. There are numerous matters which will you require advising negotiating and drafting on a range of legal and commercial matters such as procurement, new products and product development, data protection, large scale IT contracts. You might also get involved on a variety of other matters, for example a review of the whistleblowing policy, a large corporate joint venture, or general advice on the changing regulatory landscape.
You will need to be an experienced lawyer with a range of either commercial or corporate legal experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly and easily. The assignment is due to start in the July so we are planning ahead, and will probably pay (dependant on experience) in the region of £70,000 pa pro rata.
