Established Pharmaceutical company with a developing European business including new product development and launches, now seek an experienced lawyer, who is familiar with the pharma industry, to support their General Counsel on a temporary basis.
The role will include:
- Advising on, drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including CDAs, consultancy agreements, supply, services, manufacturing and distribution agreements, co-promotion agreements, MSAs and Statements of Work.
- Providing advice on key areas of law including company law, data protection, anti-trust, bribery and corruption, IP, advertising and marketing and e-commerce laws as well as regulations and codes of conduct and practice relevant to their business.
- Support the GC in providing legal advice in relation to strategic, business development activities.
- Assist with the establishment of new affiliates in different jurisdictions throughout the EU.
- Provide compliance advice to the business on matters such as data protection, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-trust law, engagements with Health Care Professionals in particular in relation to Advisory Boards and other areas of legal risk relevant to the business.
Much of the above will involve working with the Commercial, Supply Chain and Medical Affairs teams.
They are seeking an individual with:
- A number of years experience with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry and the drug discovery, development and commercialisation process and the legal and regulatory framework governing this.
- Strong organisational, planning, communication and influencing skills.
- An ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Culturally aware, with the ability to build effective working relationships, quickly establishing credibility and trust
- Ability to analyse complex issues and to find pragmatic solutions to problems; a can-do attitude and the ability to work in a fast paced solutions orientated environment.
