PPI POLICY SPECIALIST NEEDED - MAJOR BANK - MANCHESTER/LONDON

We are working with a major bank who are seeking an interim lawyer to support their team until the end of their year.

This role will be based in Manchester for at least 3 days a week, the remaining days can be flexible in either working from the London office or from the Manchester office.

The role is a broad mix of legal, compliance, remediation, responding to regulator information requests and reviewing key policy decisions. You will need to have good knowledge of PPI Policy and handling complaints, including application of DISP.

The ideal candidate will be qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales, however this is not required as long as you can demonstrate the relevant skills above. You must have strong communication skills in order to liaise with and influence senior stakeholders as well as external regulators. Prior in-house experience within a bank or financial institution would be advantageous, to demonstrate an understanding of regulatory frameworks. Ideally you will be available to interview at short notice and able to start within 4 weeks'.
