Junior Childcare Lawyer required to join a local authority based in London for an initial 3 month period. This position is open to solicitors from a public sector or private practice background, making it a great opportunity to get a foot in the door of local authority work.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming Childcare team within a well-located Local Authority. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic lawyer, who has a real passion for public sector child care.

The work will predominantly involve providing advice on and conducting cases dealing with children's social services issues, care proceedings, and giving general advice to the client department.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills. Team-fit is very important for this Council, in order to maintain a positive working environment. They are passionate about encouraging continuous development, therefore this local authority would like to find a candidate who is able to positively influence and develop others.
