In-house Commercial Lawyer

A major automotive manufacturer specialising in commercial vehicles is seeking to recruit a Legal Counsel to join the team at their Head Office in Milton Keynes. Reporting to the Head of Legal you will provide key legal advice to all areas of the business.

The Role

You will join a small team well regarded by the business' other departments and have the chance to provide active, hands on legal advice to all areas of the business, involving yourself in key projects from the outset. You will also be involved in the following:
- Drafting, reviewing and advising on a variety of commercial contracts;
- Providing advice on disputes and litigation;
- GDPR and compliance advice;
- IP advice; and
- liaising with the marketing and sales teams and providing commercial advice in response to any ad hoc queries.

The Person

You will have 1 - 4 years' PQE in a commercial setting and have the ability to foster and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders. Experience in all of the above is not necessary providing you have the willingness and drive to learn. This role is well-suited to lawyers with experience in commercial contracts, commercial litigation or corporate looking to grow into an in-house role and take on a more general commercial position, and is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading automotive company and experienced in-house legal team.
