An unmissable and rare opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to work on a high profile public inquiry with a cutting edge firm in East Yorkshire. You will play a pivotal role in this specialist regulatory team, taking on defendant work on what is one of the most talked about public inquiries of our time.
These types of vacancies certainly do not occur very often and this role is unlikely to remain the market long, therefore, if you have the relevant experience outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you.

The Role:
Joining a specialist regulatory team, you will work closely with fee earners on a high profile public inquiry.
Day to day tasks initially will include analysing evidence, reviewing documentation and reporting to the senior members of the team. There will be the opportunity to attend client meetings with the solicitor running the case.
These kinds of roles are few and far between and would certainly be an excellent opportunity to gain some standout legal experience.

The Candidate:
Our client requires a solicitor from a civil litigation background with a solid understanding of CPR who has ideally handled some big disclosure cases /recent public inquiries /inquests.
You must know your way around public inquiry rules and have worked in a team environment with fairly defined roles. Someone from a specialist regulatory background would be ideal, particularly if you have worked on large scale cases such as the Hillsborough tragedy.
You will be working at multi-party, senior judiciary level therefore our client requires someone with an appropriate demeanour
Candidates who have between 0-2 years PQE would suit the work on offer for this role, however, this has only been given as a guide and those who fall outside of this bracket but have the necessary skills and experience are encouraged to apply.
Our client promotes a strong team atmosphere and so you must have a demonstrable team spirit and prefer to work as part of a group.
Strong attention to detail and excellent IT skills are essential for this role

Benefits:
High profile work
Free parking outside of the office
