Public Law Paralegal - Bristol

Opportunity for a Paralegal to join a leading international law firm.

Our client are looking for a Paralegal to join their Public Law & Health Projects department in Bristol. This leading international firm has offices across the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. The hiring team has a market leading reputation with clients throughout the UK within the health and public sector. The team has an impressive range of clients including central and local government, non-departmental public bodies, NHS organisations (Commissioners, providers and private sector health organisations), organisations in the education sector, statutory and chartered bodies and regulators, as well as private health and social care providers and other companies and charities working for or with the public sector.

This role will focus on professional disciplinary work mainly in the teaching profession. Duties will include: acting for regulators in investigating alleged professional misconduct, and includes the conduct of investigations, recommending charging decisions, preparing for disciplinary hearings and the oral presentation of prosecution cases in front of regulatory panels.

To be considered for this role, you must have advocacy experience. Most hearings will take place in Coventry so you must be able and willing to travel here. You must also have good academics.

Salary will depend on experience.
