Insolvency Litigation - Associate

One of the leading offshore firms, who have offices in London, the Cayman Islands, BVI and in Asia, are seeking to hire an Associate with experience of Insolvency Litigation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the growing and leading offshore firms.

As a firm who demonstrate integrity and commercial pragmatism, they have an experienced litigation team which advise on a broad range of contentious matters but primarily disputes involving offshore structures and entities across the BVI and Cayman Islands. Much of this work is insolvency based which is contributed from their large insolvency practice providing advice on fraud and asset tracing in large shareholder disputes.

The role on offer can either be based in London or in the BVI or Cayman Islands. Note however that working in London, you will be advising on offshore matters under offshore law.

For the right candidate, this is an outstanding opportunity to work on big ticket insolvency matters whilst enjoying the fruits of the offshore environment.

Therefore candidates who wish to apply, should have the following:

- A minimum of 3 years' PQE from a City firm or recognised international law firm. Due to the requirements to practice, lawyers must either be UK qualified or qualified in a Commonwealth jurisdiction such as Australia or New Zealand.
- Experience in litigation across financial services or insolvency is highly advantageous
- Outgoing personality and strong academics. You will be managing clients from Day 1.
