Revenue and Collections Supervisor

A highly regarded international Law Firm currently has an excellent opportunity for a Revenue and Collections Supervisor to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. The Revenue and Collections Supervisor will oversee WIP, billing and the collection of debts.

This is a busy and hands on role which will involve but not be limited to:

• Overseeing the production and distribution of invoices
• Draft and finalise multi-currency invoices
• Submit electronic invoices via the e-billing hub
• Responsible for the collection of debts
• Issue credit notes when required and adhere to VAT regulations
• Regular meetings to discuss accounts receivable
• Liaising with the cashiering team
• Coordination of write offs
• Responsible for resolution of aged WIP
• WIP & AR valuation
• Provide monthly billing reports
• Liaise directly with partners on rate agreements
• Communicate any client/matter changes with US
• Ensure all matters are set up correctly
• Oversee the preparation and distribution of daily cash receipts report
• Preparing monthly cash receipts forecast
• Preparing budgets on matters and costs estimates on matters on a timely basis
• Provide financial data on performance
• Complete and return the EC Sales list to HMRC
• Prepare quarterly output VAT reconciliation for management accountant

The following skills are required:

• Use of Elite accounting system
• Thorough knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and UK VAT
• Previous experience of supervision
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to deal with time critical issues
• Ability to communicate with staff at all levels
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload
