Fram are currently working with a regional law firm who are based in Leicester. Due to growth they are seeking a duty office Lawyer to work within a small team to cover all aspects of criminal work.
The key duties for the role will be to centre on, amongst other things:
- Expected to maintain frequent police station visits.
- You will need to do your own preparation work and must be fully competent to cover trials of all matters in the magistrates court.
- Cover the phone on the internal rota (1 night a week and 1 weekend in 5).
- You will be required to bill your own matters, but training will be given.
The ideal candidate should have circa 2-4 years PQE as well as good academics. This is a fantastic chance to work as a Duty Lawyer in a growing firm. Due to the culture of the firm the successful candidate should have fantastic interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
