Role Summary

Our busy international law firm is in need of a reliable and proactive Paralegal to join our Commercial Real Estate team. In this Paralegal role, you will work directly with Partners, Associates and trainees within the Real Estate group to research, manage and prepare documentation for our Industrial Property portfolio.

The ideal Paralegal for this role will have strong organisational skills, be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and have excellent client handling skills. Dealing with deadlines, multiple demands and priorities won’t daunt you.

If you have the skills above, have completed the LPC and have strong academics (2:1 or above), have a strong interest in Real Estate with at least 3 months Paralegal experience in (Commercial) Real Estate, then we would encourage you to apply.

This is a 6-month full-time contract with the possibility of going permanent depending on performance. For the right Professional, there is an option to join on a training contract and qualify.

 

Role Responsibilities 

The main tasks as a Paralegal you will do include:

  • Managing deeds including scheduling of incoming deeds, sending out and tracking their whereabouts.
  • Proof-reading contracts and other documentation.
  • Preparing a for banks.
  • Carrying out research as and when required by Partners and Associates.
  • Preparation of standard form leases and letting packs for a portfolio of industrial properties managed by the Real Estate group.
  • Acting for banks in regards to redemptions
  • Dealing with clients and solicitors who are acting on the opposite side of the transaction.

Paralegal Salary

Between £26,000 - £34,000 per annum.
