Legal Counsel - Hertfordshire

My client is a UK listed company with an excellent reputation and highly regarded General Counsel who are in search of a commercial lawyer. This role best suits an experienced lawyer looking to move into a long term career role. The head office is located in Potters Bar and there will be a car allowance on offer. To be considered you must have at least 4 years PQE with a mix of Commercial and Employment Law.

The Role
Your primary focus is to draft and negotiate commercial contracts and terms of business whilst advising the business on possible risks. In some cases you will need to be pragmatic and capable to identify issues which may impact the business commercially, you will also need to confident in providing efficient legal advice. This role will allow you to work autonomously as well as part of a collegiate team. There will be an element of Employment Law experience required for this role as you'll deal with numerous employment contract issues.

The Candidate
To be considered you must have at least 4 years PQE with training from a well regarded city law firm having gained legal experience in either commercial, corporate from an in-house legal team. The successful candidate must be commercially aware with excellent soft skills as the office is an open culture where working as a team is paramount. Candidates with an element of employment law experience would be advantageous.
