In-House Commercial Counsel

Role Overview:

The Legal Counsel will be required to advise the business on a range of matters including IP, Property, Litigation, Corporate and Commercial. You will support a variety of business sub-brands and departments from depot floor to executive board level on a wide variety of internal and external matters.

Role Responsibilities:

• Drafting new and reviewing existing contracts
• Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
• General regulatory compliance with current and new legislation
• Governance
• Generally contributing to the overall legal strategy of the business.

Experience/Skills Required:

• The ability to demonstrate considerable experience in a similar Legal Counsel or related role.
• UK legal qualification
• A general corporate/commercial background is essential as well as experience in the fields of IP and litigation
• Experience in regulatory compliance
