We have been instructed by a multinational company operating in the Life Sciences sector to source a Senior Legal Counsel based in Rome. This is a new position.
As sole Legal Counsel you will be in charge of the day-to-day responsibilities including managing and advising on all legal matters related to the Italian Business including, for example, public tenders, general public law, data privacy, employment law, commercial and corporate matters.
Requirements:
- You will be an Italian qualified lawyer with around 8-10PQE acquired in international law firms and/or in-house;
- Proven experience in Public Law in the Life Sciences Sector, Data Privacy;
- Exposure to Employment Law or international commercial contracts is an advantage;
- Strong command of English (spoken and written). Knowledge of any additional language is an advantage.

- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast paced, rapidly evolving and demanding industry and work environment;
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, communicate with people at all levels and build trustworthy relationships with colleagues and clients;
- Experience of delivering results within a complex and matrix-driven corporate environment is an advantage.
