Head of Residential Conveyancing (7-10 PQE)

A rare opportunity has become available with a specialist law firm with an unrivalled reputation across Buckinghamshire.

Due to ongoing success my client's property department continues to go from strength to strength and they now have an opportunity for a 7-10 PQE Solicitor to head up the Residential Conveyancign department based. The role would be based out of Chesham but the successful candidate would be head of the department as a whole, covering other offices as well.

The successful candidate will have an extensive background in property law and conveyancing. My client is preferably seeking someone with a minimum of 7 years PQE but applications will be considered from candidates with less experience who can demonstrate the right level of expertise.

Candidates must have experience of running their own caseload, handling high volumes of transactions at any one time and dealing with multifaceted and complex transactions as well as being able to demonstrate previous experience in managing a department and supervising staff.

You will be expected to slot into the existing property team and to develop new sources of potential income streams for the business. There will be supervisory and managment elements to the role and experience of supervising peers and junior colleagues would be beneficial.

There are opportunities to progress to partner/director level available for the right candidate.
