A global technology provider in London is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team for a period of 3 months initially with a potential to extend.

My client is seeking a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years* legal experience within a commercial environment, ideally within Technology. You will have a proven track record working under pressure with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and across the business units.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

* Engage in all commercial contracting, including the primary operations in the UK and those in other operating subsidiaries
* Negotiate and advise on complex commercial technology transactions
* Provide support and practical advise to UK business leaders in the development of new technology service and solution offering to customers
* Coordinate with Heads of Legal to negotiate global agreements with customers, partners and suppliers
* Provide legal counsel on diverse regulatory and compliance matters, including those impacting sales to government entities
* Proactively identify legal trends within the business and initiate practical solutions
* Provide legal support to the procurement process, particularly with regard to large scale complex Public Sector details
* Assist with special projects and other matters as needed

The successful candidate will have prior experience working on a broad range of commercial contracts, employment matters, data protection, litigation/dispute management, real estate and corporate compliance. You will have strong planning, organisation and time management skills with the ability to deal with conflicting demands. Experience working in a U Headquartered multinational company is highly preferred but not essential.
