Assistant Financial Accountant - Legal

We are looking for an enthusiastic Part Qualified Accountant with the ambition to achieve full qualification, to join a world reknowned international law firm. 

This client has a history going back to the late 1800s when they were established in the City of London.  They opened their first overseas office in the 1970s and now have offices in ten locations across the globe. With over 500 lawyers worldwide, they are a dynamic, commercial firm and leaders in their specialist business areas.

Responsibilities: 

• Engaging in preparing Partner and Fee Earner's accounts for each partnership entity.
• Consolidating Partner's accounts in accordance with internal policies
• Repsonsible for preparing statutory financial statements for the firm's LLPs.
• Group LLP accounts fillings at Companies Hous in accordance with FRS102
• Uploading and posting year end journals and performing reconciliations to the Elite 3E finance ssytem.
• Computation and analysis of accrued income under FRS102 - Section 23. 
• Preparation of reconciliations and statements needed to demonstrate compliance with banking covenants.
• processing calculations concerning the annual group transfer pricing charges. 
• Acting as a main liason between the firm and auditors.
• Ad hoc duties as and when they arise. 

Experience: 

• Part qualified accountant looking to progress to full qualification
• Experience of multinational reporting disciplines
• Understanding of UK GAAP under FRS102
• Knowledge of PMS such as ELite
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (SumIF's, IF / nested IF statements) 
• VBA and Macro Experience
• Team player and excellent communicater
