Head of Residential Conveyancing

The Firm
· Established and reputable firm based in the centre of Worcester
Seeking Senior Residential Conveyancer to head its conveyancing department
· Law Society Accredited for its Conveyancing Quality
· Thriving Conveyancing department with an enviable client base

The opportunity
· Responsible for your own caseload of varied residential conveyancing matters
· Supervising work on behalf of the fee earners and secretaries
· The team consists of three fee earners and three support staff
· The team advises on a range of matters to include Sales and Purchases (freehold/leasehold), Re-mortgaging, Buy-to-let, Commercial Conveyancing, Shared ownership, New builds (acting for developer and buyers), Help to Buy, Right to Buy, Transfers of Equity, Declarations of Trust, Transfers of Equity, Estate/Probate Sales, Auction Sales and Purchases
· Attending networking events to develop new business relationships and cement new ones

Requirements
· You will be a; solicitor, legal executive, licensed conveyancer with demonstrable experience in residential conveyancing
· You will be familiar and comfortable with working in accordance with Lexcel and CQS quality procedures
· You will have experience in a senior conveyancing role or a managerial role
· You will be able to build relationships with existing clients and develop new ones
· You will be able to handle technical queries effectively and act as a manager for the team
