Description

Advertising & Marketing

• Drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts including contracts with on and off line marketing and design agencies; contracts with media buying agencies; contracts with merchandise agencies; contracts with advertising sales agencies, brand licences, sponsorship contracts and event management contracts.

• Assisting with the development of merchandising agreement precedents, advising on the structure of merchandising deals and proposed licensing arrangements.

• Advising on the content of websites.

• Advising on the content of on-line and off-line advertising and marketing copy including pricing indications.

• Advising on the legalities of multi-jurisdictional competitions and prize draws, and drafting rules of entry.

• Advising on the legalities of sales promotion offer mechanics and drafting eligibility rules.

• Dealing with complaints relating to advertising and marketing materials.

• General day to day queries from marketing team relating to copy and/or relationships with agencies.

• Drafting voucher code terms and conditions for digital and other content.

• Drafting website terms and conditions of use and privacy policies.

• Helping define company policy in advertising and marketing related areas of website campaign, viral marketing, promotions and social networking policies.

• Assisting with development of precedents and keeping abreast of legal developments in licensing and marketing.
