Solicitor – Regulatory and Health & Safety

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Solicitor to join a top 100 firm. This role will suit a Senior Associate or Partner who has extensive Regulatory, Health & Safety experience. The salary is competitive and negotiable dependent on experience/following, along with an enviable benefits package.

HCR has offices in Worcester, Cheltenham, Wye Valley, Hereford, Birmingham, Reading, Cambridge and London. We are Legal 500 and Chambers recommended across many practice areas, including Health and Safety. You will join the specialist Licensing & Regulatory service team where you will deal with Regulatory, Health and Safety and Environmental Law, representing Companies, Directors and Managers involved in investigations and prosecutions by the Police, Health and Safety Executive, Local Authorities, Care Quality Commission and the Environment Agency.  You must also be a keen business developer and be keen to assist with the growth of the team.

Applications are invited from Solicitors who have at least 5 Years PQE working with Regulatory, Business Crime and Professional Discipline. Depending on your current level and experience you will join the firm as an Associate, Senior Associate or Partner.

Applicants will be required to:-

• Attends interviews under caution with the Police and Regulator
• Undertake Advocacy at Magistrate Court hearings, Trials and at Inquests.
• Present seminars and workshops for clients/prospective clients on all aspects of health and safety and regulatory law.
• Speak regularly on Health and Safety and Regulatory issues.
• Regularly produces articles and provides commentary for the press.
• Attend/organise marketing events for clients and prospective clients.
• Produce the firm’s regulatory and health and safety newsletters and e-alerts
