A unique and exciting role as a Regulatory Lawyer with an international specialist bank where clients are the forefront of their business. This role will sit within their London based Private banking team who provide a range of transactional banking, savings, mortgage and loan products to their high net worth clients.
A unique and exciting role as a Regulatory Lawyer with an international specialist bank where clients are the forefront of their business. This role will sit within their London based Private banking team who provide a range of transactional banking, savings, mortgage and loan products to their high net worth clients.
The bank is offering a competitive salary along with the opportunity to broaden your practical and technical experience in one of their leading in-house legal teams.
The main responsibilities will involve assisting the private bank and savings business in
- Providing expert and timely advice in relation to banking, financial services and consumer matters
- Providing advice on payment service regulations to the banks high net worth clients
- Assisting in the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts
- Liaising with the Legal Risk Team and other stakeholders on legal risk matters
- Keeping up to date with changes in the law and regulations
To be successful in this role you will have
- Experience in retail financial services in either in-house or a private practice banking team
- Practical experience and strong technical skills in payment services regulations
- 3-6 years PQE however all applicants will be considered equally
