An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrative assistant to join this Litigation division of a law firm in Southampton. The successful candidate's main responsibilities will be to ensure efficient support to the busy Commercial Litigation team with a broad range of administrative, numerical and operational tasks.  Some of the main duties will include:

• Accounts administration

• Copying, filing and archiving

• Liaising with clients, Counsel, experts and other third parties

• Organisation of internal and external events

• Inbox and diary management

• Preparing expenses claims 

• Limited audio and copy typing 

 

The person will be

• Confident in the use of IT and software (Microsoft office including Excel and PowerPoint)

• A minimum of 2 years administrative experience is necessary ideally in a law firm

• Previous professional services experience and risk awareness would be an advantage 

• Understands and complies with Information Security responsibilities commensurate with this role including Data Protection and the duty of confidentiality
