Childcare Paralegal – £20k to £25k – Staffordshire

Highly regarded firm seeks a driven Paralegal to join their well respected Childcare Team.

This is a busy and stimulating role with varied responsibilities. The successful applicant will provide comprehensive support to the Childcare team and will play a key role in progressing cases. Duties will include:

• Liaising with the Local Authority, Guardians, Social Workers and Chambers
• Preparing and submitting applications for Court
• Dealing with new enquiries and clients and assisting with opening new files
• Drafting letters to clients, Court attendance notes and file notes
• Filing, updating and paginating Court bundles

This is a well established firm with a modern approach. They are adept at recognising talent and developing their staff. The care team is tight-knit and supportive and has an excellent reputation locally.

A salary of £20,000 to £25,000 is on offer, dependent on experience. Candidates with experience of childcare law who have higher salary expectations will be considered on their merits.

We are looking for a team player who is calm and efficient under pressure and knows how to prioritise a busy workload. In order to be considered you must have demonstrable experience supporting a busy childcare team. Excellent communication skills and an empathetic approach are an essential requirement.
