The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Corporate Lawyer to join a nationally recognised firm in their office in Carlisle, Cumbria. The successful Lawyer should have a natural flair for business development and the confidence to build and retain a loyal client base. Whilst the majority of the caseload will consist of mergers and acquisitions, other duties will include: joint venture agreements; shareholders’ agreements; partnership matters; reorganisations; corporate governance and; providing general commercial advice.

The Candidate
You will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive NQ – 4 years’ PQE;
Confident in managing own caseload of a variety of Corporate matters;
Excellent client care and communication skills, demonstrating an ability to build a client base;
Technically adept, with particular experience in Mergers and Acquisitions;
Willing to proactively participate in business development and networking initiatives.
