Risk & Compliance Manager

A reputable international law firm are looking to expend their risk and compliance team in Leeds.

The firm share a common culture, with core values supporting the firm's commitment to add value, achieve excellence, and promote professional development.

As risk and compliance manager you will work across the firm's business intake team and legal team. This role will involve dealing with client on boarding issues and well as working with members of the legal team on a broad range of risk and ethical issues.

Work includes but is not limited to;
- General policy
- Due diligence
- Regulation
- Anti-money laundering
- Managing / monitoring SRA regulations

To be eligible for this position you will ideally have;
- a law degree
- be a qualified legal professional or hold a minimum of 2 years risk management experience
- have experience working within a comparable law firm's compliance team or within another highly regulated industry such as financial services is desirable
- sound working knowledge and understanding of the SRA Code of Conduct
