Your new company
An AIM listed real estate finance organisation in the heart of Central London, with a presence of over 15 years in the market. The company has a strong leadership team, and focuses on development funding for all manor of residential construction projects across the UK. The company is well financed with significant funding secured as a result of its listing. The London office has a closely-knit, open plan population with a collaborative and friendly working environment.

Your new role
A newly created real estate finance focused role reporting into the experienced General Counsel. This position will be geared towards assisting in real estate funding transactions, investment matters and internal policy development. You will work on relevant industry contracts, reports on title, joint ventures and construction elements of the transactions, as well as developing internal company policies, contracts and document templates and liaising with external counsel where necessary. You will bring your private practice experience of real estate finance transactional work to the fore, and you will build your profile as a reliable business advisor within the company.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have qualified in England & Wales with a reputable firm, and have developed continuing expertise in the real estate finance field. You will have at least two years' PQE (though equivalent experience will also be considered), and you will be technically strong. You will be comfortable working in with a small headcount of people in an entrepreneurial environment, and you will have the hunger to develop your career for the long term, with the mentorship of an experienced GC. You will bring strong communication skills, a team mentality and a good sense of humour to the table.
